Provisioning Server Script Trigger

Hello.  I am working with the IP 450 and I was wondering if there is a way to send a command to the provisioning server to run a bash script when a softkey is pressed.  The script would simply update a file that the microbrowser is viewing in idle state.  I know I can use crontab but if this possibility exsists, it would make things cleaner and more efficient.

Re: Provisioning Server Script Trigger

Hello Keith,

the Softkey's or Hardkeys can contain a Hyperlink to a page on a server but I am not aware if this link could be a Perl Script or a PHP Script as the Phone usually does a GET request to display the Hyperlink in the Microbrowser.

Best Regards

Thanks, Steffen.  I'll look into it and if I find anything, I'll post back here.
