Hello Everyone,

I didn't study about server system because I was a network engineer, but my company wanted to research a communication system such as lync and webex.

I just received 3 servers, a lync server disk, and a vvx 1500.

I studied and setup a domain server, lync server, and exchange server. These servers are connected with a static IP.

Questions are following.

1. Is it possible for setting lync communication with only 3 servers?

2. How can I connect a VVX 1500 to Lync 2010?

(If you have pictures and moive clips, these are really helpful for me.)

I don't know how I can connect and test it. please give me a guide.

Thank you  guys.

Thank you, Steffen Baier

I read the articles and followed Jeff's blog, but I still have a problem between vvx1500(U.C 4.0.1) and Lync 2010.

My condition is following.

Domain Server - static IP, 2008 R2, Homepage

 Lync Server(1) - Static IP, 2008 R2, DHCP

 Exchange Server(1) - static IP, 2008 R2

I will try to solve this problem.

If you have any kind of idea for my problem, please le me know.

Regards,

Esong.

Hello esong,

I would suggest to use UCS 4.1.0 rev B.

If you cannot gain access to this please use UCS 4.0.3 Rev B.

Please remember to utilize your Polycom reseller for first level support.

Best regards
