Hello,

we've got 3 SoundStation IP 5000 in our company. After setting them up with our new VoIP provider they receive random calls from strange numbers like 6022, 6020, 6105, 1003, 100, etc.

If you answer the call, the ring tone stops but you can't hear anyone and the call still appears as not answered in the display.  We have the latest software version installed. Can anyone help us?

Thanks,

Marc

We had similar issues on networks which did not isolate VoIP Endpoints from Data Endpoints. A remote user, for instance with an infected LAN, or SoHo router DMZ set to their Polycom LAN IP.

We changed the Polycom's default SIP port (5060) as well as enabled SIP requestValidation (source INVITE)
