EDIT: This feature is only applicable if the phones are in openSIP/Generic/Skype for Business mode. CCX or Trio C60 with other applications like Zoom, Microsoft or any other 3rd Party application would need to request this feature from the Provider company they are using.

Automatic Off-Hook Placement Configuration

You can configure the phone to automatically place a call to a specified number when you go off-hook.

This feature is sometimes referred to as Hot Dialing.

The phone goes off-hook when you lift the handset, press the New Call soft key, or press the headset or speakerphone buttons on the phone.

The following Parameter would activate this for the first registration of the phone:

<test call.autoOffHook.1.enabled="1" call.autoOffHook.1.contact="3096" />

 In the provided example the first registration on the phone will dial extension 3096.

  • Using UCS 4.0.0 or newer the unzipped attached file can simply be imported via the web interface

  • Using a Software UCS 3.3.x or older (SIP 3.2) the change needs to be made to a configuration file or changed in the phone1.cfg

NOTE: Please be aware that the offHookAction Parameter will be affected by this (Speaker and Headset will still work)!

In order to still be able to dial a number simply type the number as usual and press the dial softkey or the Headset or Speaker button.

Please check the matching Administration Guide for more details.
