Hi,

 

 

Issue :
Trio 8800 and Visual + cannot pair.

When following the instructions on the monitor from the Visual+ it will pair but not connect with the trio 8800.

It has been working before. but suddenly its not working anymore.

 

some things i did and i observed.

 

1. The button on the Visual + is blinking red. i'm not sure if this is a bad thing or not.

2. I firmware updated the Trio 8800

3. I reset the Visual + to factory default.

4. They are both on the same network.

5. Software version on both devices : 5.5.2.11217

6. I pulled a logfile, and saw the followin which looks rather interresting, althoug im nor sure what to make of it.

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Is the Visual+ connected to the Trio directly or both on the same switch / network?

 

Usually the Visual+ sends a broadcast to advertise itself to any Trio in the network. I suggest you setup a spanned port and check the network activity.

 

If you are unable to do this please work with SEC DataCom A/S as they have sold this unit back in 27/12/2016

 

They are your Tier 1 support and they should be able to help you.
