Hi There,

I am having some issue witha Soundstation Duo that onlyy allows 3x Conference calls in SIP working mode. I was hoping to utilise the PABX that the unit is connected to and use the PABX facility conference as it oes 8 call connected simultaneously. It seems that the Soundstation does not behave as and "Dumb" analogue phone or send DTMF tone when in use to invoke the Conference facility '*9' to implement the feature on the system. Is there any wat this ohone can be made to do this?

Many thaks in advance.

Simon

Hello Simon,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This all completely depends on the PABX you are using it. If you setup the SS Duo for SIP it either uses its internal conference facility or a server hosted one.

Oct 25, 2011 Question: What is the maximum amount of participants in a conference call?

The above FAQ article explains this all in detail.

I would suggest you check with the support team that provides your SIP PABX.
