we are using polycomIP430.

the customer considers changing the environmental DHCP server which is using polycomIP430.

a setup of the existing DHCP server is reflected as it is.

do we need to confirm some?

we are holding uneasiness.

thank you,

Hello T3,

the answer about IP6 support was already provided => here <=

I do not hold specific Information what kind of DHCP Servers we support but as long as it is a standard DHCP reply the Phones should be ok.

Hi Polycom Global Service

thank you for your reply.

the thing which I would like to ask to you is different.

connection is ipv4 although a DHCP server is ipv6 correspondence.

therefore, I think that I am the standard connection method.

the thing which I would like to check is a concern matter at the time of changing a DHCP server.

thank you,

Hello TS3,

I am struggeling to understand what the question is you are asking.

Currently we do not support IP6, our Phones will only support IP4.

If your future DHCP Server can reply to IP4 DHCP Requests and delivers standard IP4 DHCP offers then our phones "should" work.

Without testing this at your end Polycom is unable to confirm this to you.

Best Regards

Hi Polycom Global Service

thank you for your reply.

you have said that you will operate if it is ipv4.

I am going to tell a client as it is.

thank you,
