I am looking for a way to reboot multiple VVX410 phones without having a Linux machine.  Does anyone have any resources that you could point me to?  Thanks in advance.

My real need is to reboot 80 phones spread across multiple locations.  If we could do that, I would be willing to spread this to all 2000 phones across the environment.  Using the web interface isn't prudent for the volume.

Overlooked that, but it got me where I needed to be.  When the phone reboots, it just sits at the Initializing device, please wait....screen.  Until I hit home, nothing happens.  Is there something that causes this?

HP Recommended

Did you ever solve this problem with the phone showing Initializing device, please wait.  The only way out we found was to press the home button.  But  we never found out what causes it

Hello StephenP,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

If the phone is not reactive after a CHECK-SYNC Polycom support should be involved.

Utilizing the community search => here <= finds multiple posts and the 1st one already has a scripted approach to utilize the Web Interface Reboot.

I myself do not feel comfortable posting a similar script I utilize as it could be used for a DDoS attack but you can work with a Polycom reseller as this can give you access to the REST API.
