Resetting Polycom 501

My 501 is acting odd. When trying to get to the Admin changes menu, the ONLY thing I can do is change the password. I cannot change any network settings on the phone. When I navigate using the Soundpoint IP utility in a browser, I get the menus, but I cannot change anything because the authorization dialog comes up and I cannot get past it. I use Polycom as the User, but no password works (even 456).  This works on all my other 501s.

 

I tried a *468 reset, REMOVED BY MOD AS THIS INFORMATION IS NOT PUBLICLY DISCLOSED. I tried the Arrow, Del, etc. reset and no change either. I cannot make any changes to this phone OR Reset it!

 

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hello fastfile,

 

how do you do the Factory Reset multiple Key Combination ?

 

It has to be done whilst the countdown screen is show just after the Phone starts booting.

 

What is the Software Version of the Unit ? The latest is 3.1.7
