Despite selecting a new ring type on my SoundPoint IP 335 and confirming a checkmark in the box next to the ring type's name the newly selected ring type does not play with incoming calls. I have restarted the phone and re-selected a new ring type but the newly selected ring type never plays with incoming calls.
Is it possible that your PBX is overriding the default ringtone in the INVITEs it is sending to your phones?
Have you selected the line on which you wish to change the ring type? Just make sure you did, and then also select play on the selected ring type.
