VVX 4XX using 5.7.1

When using DNS SRV and phone fails to secondary SRV record, the phone successfully registers to the secondary SIP server and sends SUBSCRIBE messages properly, however when the fallback to the primary SRV recrod takes place, the SUBSCRIBE messages continue to be sent to the secondary SIP server and don't fallback properly. reg.1.server.1.subscribe.expires="100" is currently the config param that is setup for the phone.

If you are using global server for registration this will VoiProt but i'm using the server for the line. Here is the fix. This will cause the phone to re-register back to the primary whenever the registration expires and the phone needs to refresh the registration. It also keeps all of the outgoing/incoming dialogs sticky to the server it's currently registered at (resolving my original problem). Testing on 5.5.1, 5.7.0, and 5.7.1.

reg.1.server.1.failOver.reRegisterOn="1"
reg.1.server.1.failOver.failRegistrationOn="1"
reg.1.server.1.failOver.onlySignalWithRegistered="1"
reg.1.server.1.failOver.failBack.mode="registration"

Hello @jmordica,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Did this work prior to 5.7.1 ?

I suggest you get this into Support.

We have a special team dealing with Service providers so I suggest you escalate this internally.

I’ve confirmed this happening on 5.5.1, 5.2.3, and 5.7.1.

Ok I will do that. Thanks.
