I have a IP 321 and want to disable the auto scrolling when a call comes in.

We prefix the CLID with the name of the company that the caller is trying to reach and with the auto scrolling the display will scroll to the end of the line and then back again after a few seconds.

This has only occured since a recent upgrade to 3.2.2 firmware.

Is there a simple setting in the .cfg file to turn the autoscroll off?

TIA

Hello Bleckfield,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am not 100% when this feature was exactly introduced but please see below as a workaround:

Automatic Caller ID Scrolling on SoundPoint IP 321, 331, and 335 Phones

As of Polycom® UC Software 3.3.0, when the SoundPoint IP 321, 331, and 335 phones receive incoming calls, the caller ID will automatically scroll from left to right. Auto-scrolling stops once the call is connected, but you can use the left and right arrow keys to scroll manually.

If you wish to restore the original "old" functionality please highlight this to the relevant team via raising this as a Feature Request => here <=

Best regards
