Hi

I'm trying to get a test VVX  311 to switch to the Generic base profile via config file, rather than having to later explain to people to simultaneously press 1,2,4,5 and switch manually as per the admin manual. Could someone help with the config file directive needed to get the phone to switch to the Generic profile on first boot?

Hello Bivin VIjai's ,

A couple of your old posts => here <= are still open / pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution".

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice was useful and has helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate ?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilize the community more efficiently.

In addition the combination is 1,4 and 9 and not what you stated.

You can simply use:

<test device.set="1" device.baseProfile.set="1" device.baseProfile="Generic" />

You would simply load the above via a 00000000000.cfg or <mac>.cfg

Oct 7, 2011 Question: What is the relevance of the 000000000000.cfg or <mac>.cfg?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
