FreePBX 13.0.192.19 including Endpoint Manager

Polycom IP331 phones

UC 4.1.1.0731

BootROM 5.1.1.0132

The first horizontal softkey is configured as "Msg" for one-touch voicemail, but it's only available when the phone is on-hook. Is there a way to configure this EFK to be static, always in that position, even when the handset is lifted?

In the FreePBX Endpoint Manager module, I've configured it to be active in all 3 available states: Idle, Active Calls, Enabled ... but it disappears when off-hook.

Hello @LGraham,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

First of all you are using an incorrect software for an openSIP server.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jun 30, 2015 Question:What is the difference using the UC Software 4.0.0 for compatible SoundPoint or SoundStation IP Phones?

Resolution: Please always check the release Notes or

Software Version  Call Server
4.0.X SIP Only
4.1.X LYNC Only

Secondly how about posting some of your configuration so others can look at it.

The EFK FAQ is pretty self explanatory:

Nov 25, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of a softkey button / use EFK?

Resolution: Please check => here <=
