Hey Steffen,

Have there been any updates to the UC software that would allow for line keys to be configured as speed dials using a .cfg file instead of using the MAC-directory.xml? Just a general question.

Basically I want to define something like speedDial.1.address="NPANXXXXXX" much like we do for BLFs, only a speed dial instead. I don't want to replace the MAC-directory.xml because i don't want to overwrite what users may have already saved in their contacts. Just curious if this is in the works or if this would be a feature request.

Thanks!

Hello extremerotary,

I did feed this back to Product Management back in September and a Feature Request Accept ID 70792 was created.

I would suggest you work with your Polycom reseller to add your requirement and numbers of phones involved as this will highlight the urgency of implementing this feature.

Hello extremerotary,

the above Enhancement request is in regards of Speed Dial containg a pause and not provisioning speed dials via a confuguration file.

I must have miss read your original post.

If you would want to provision a speed dial via a configuration file instead of using the XML files would require a feature request via your Polycom reseller.
