[Software] UC Software 4.0.11 has been released

Hello Everyone,

 

We are happy to announce the availability of Polycom® UC Software 4.0.11,  with associated utilities and documents on the Polycom Product Support web page (http://support.polycom.com).

 

UC Software 4.0.11 is a general Maintenance release with a critical fix (VOIP-116371) that corrects a problem with Polycom phones (all Polycom SoundPoint IP, Soundstation IP and VVX Business Media Phones) manufactured with a serial number or MAC address in the range 64167F as opposed to 0004F2. Without this fix, customers using Polycom phones with the new serial number range will see impaired performance. Polycom recommends that this release be used for all phones going forward. Phones with older serial numbers or MAC addresses will continue to work correctly with this build with no impact.

 

 

Note: Upgrading Updater on SoundStation IP 6000 and SoundStation IP 7000 systems

  • Polycom strongly recommends upgrading the SoundStation IP 6000 and SoundStation IP 7000 systems to use Updater 5.0.11 to ensure that all newly added certificates and the OpenSSL fix are in place before you install UC Software 4.0.11

 

Polycom UC Software 4.0.11 supports the following Polycom endpoints:

  • SoundPoint® IP
  • SoundStation® IP
  • SoundStation® Duo
  • VVX 500 business media phones
  • VVX 1500 business media phones
  • SoundStructure VoIP Interface Card
