My apologies if I am in the wrong forum.

I am an owner of a PolyCom Soundpoint IP 335 VOIP phone. I find that there are features that must be set by the system admin such as the default volume level for handsets and headsets.  In other words, as the user, I am unable to change those preset levels from the phone configuration menu.

Since I am not part of any corporate phone system... just my two-line phone in my office... it seems likely that there should be some system admin S/W I can put on my PC and manage my phone from my desktop.

Is there such a S/W and, if so, where do I find it.

Thanks

Hello dasadler,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The answer is pretty simple, at least to my knowledge, there is no such Software.

The Polycom Phones use Provisioning and our Partners provide their own interfaces but no standalone software as far as I am aware.

You can either read up in the FAQ and/or go through the Admin Guide or work with a Polycom Reseller an/or Polycom Support as a basic explanation on how to change all these parameters is outside the scope of this Community at least from a Polycom Employee perspective.

Best Regards
