Hello

we have registered the above as a SIP device to a Mitel MCD. It works fine as an extension however when dialling over the ISDN 30 the last two digits dialled are dropped. This isn't a Mitel issue as the settings have been checked on a 3CX SIP which works.

i have read somewhere our unit needs a software upgrade.

so I've  downloaded the files required from the Polycom web site and dropped them on the Mitel's TFTP server but it hasn't worked.

im confused the manuals mention a MAC address.cfg file how do I create this.

any help much appreciated

Hello twowitness,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Our VoIP FAQ or the Admin Guides accompanying the downloadable software contain all this information.

In regards of upgrading / provisioning please check this FAQ post:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

to answer you <ma>.cfg question please check this:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: What is the relevance of the 000000000000.cfg or <mac>.cfg?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

In regards how many digits you can dial I do not understand the relevance of the 3CX. Do you mean when the SSIP6000 was connected to the 3CX it could dial longer digits strings?

Thanks for your reply.

the Mitel settings for the 6000 are the same also for a SIP softphone, a 3CX. the 3CX can dial out with no problems but the Polycom soundstation 6000 can't. say i dial 020 7870 7024 only the 0207870 70 is being sent to line.  does this need a upgrade? currently it is 3.3.3

Thanks

Hello,

Just follow the third link I posted as you need to change your digitmap for a UK dialplan.
