Dear all,

I'm trying to connect Soundpoint IP321 with lync server 2010 for past few days.

I have successfully upgraded phone with Bootrom 4.4.0 and UC software 4.0.1.

and uploaded 000000000000.cfg, main config file and lync.cfg with all the required details through a provisioning server.

Filezilla FTP server been used.

I have included RootCA certificate in lync.cfg file as a TLS custom cert. and ApplicationProfile1 as TLS.profileSelection.SIP.

But still not registering with Lync Server 2010.

Do I have to modify any more details in the configuration.

Please note that, Lync server is in local domain is different from company main domain and company E-mail address is used for lync login. So will that be a problem for the registration with lync server?

I really appreciate your help on this.

Thanks very much.

Kasun

Hello Kasun,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The Phone mac-app.log file should give you some indication why the registration fails if you are sure you set all the parameters correctly.

In addition I would recommend to utilize UCS 4.0.2 Rev B.

If you are sure you have checked this FAQ Post => here <= that leads to the Polycom LYNC Deployment guide and in addition checked our colleagues Jeff Schertz blog => here <= I can only recommend to seek further support from your Polycom Reseller.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
