Good afternoon. I have a SoundPoint IP 335 that seems to dial 800 when the receiver is picked up. For example, I pick up the receiver to make a call and get an error from my VoIP system that I'm not permitted to dial a number - looking on the screen reveals it tried to dial 800. I can end that call (with the receiver still off the hook) and then dial a number a hit Dial and it works fine, but for some reason it tries 800 first. Has this happened to anyone else before? It's only one phone that does this.

Hello Logan-YL,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to post the currently used software version.

The UCS Admin Guide 4.1.0 shows on page 139 the section:

Enabling Automatic Off-Hook Call Placement

Above is most likely active on this phone.

Please check with whoever programmed your phones or follow via the Admin guide on how to remove this functionality.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
