Hi there,
Below is the detail of my terminal,
SoundPoint IP 335 Version4.1.0.84097 BootROM Software Version5.1.0.73960
It is regesirted with IP PBX and LDAP connection with my Microsofot AD is working fine.
I can manually search contact from LDAP and can dial it.
Is it possible that when someone call my extension and polycom should lookup the number in LDAP and retrieve and show the caller name?
Similarly if I dial any number polycom should look up the number in LDAP and retrieve and show the called person name?

My Config file is as Following ,

-------------------------------------

dialplan.digitmap="[0-8]xx|92xxxxxxx|99xxxxxxx|97xxxxxxx|98xxxxxxx"
dialplan.digitmap.timeOut="1"
dir.corp.address="172.16.0.1"
dir.corp.baseDN="dc=blab,dc=local"
dir.corp.password="password"
dir.corp.port="389"

Hello @zahiddxb ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

First of all you should not be using UC Software 4.1.x for any openSIP deployment.

UC Software 4.0.14 is the latest version for openSIP as 4.1.x is for LYNC.

Secondly, I just added this to the FAQ:

Jul 07, 2015 Question:Does a Polycom VVX Business Media Phone support Reverse Name Lookup (RNL)?

Resolution: VVX UC Software 5.8.0 added this feature for Skype for Business. The Factory default uses Outlook,SIP,ABS,Local in this order. UC Software 6.1.0 added this feature for compatible phones using LDAP, Personal Directory, SIP, PAB and GAB (if applicable)

The old legacy SoundPoint and SoundStation do not support this feature.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
