I have had issues with this phone for the past week. At first it was working fine...then for some reason stopped working and was in the constant state of rebooting. I was able to update the phone and I can get access to the main screen. But I still get it to be recognized by my PBX system. And the phone is shows an error message of LINE UNREGISTERED. I really have no clue how to provision it. I have read the instructions, but I am not a technicial person. How can I get it to work again, in the simplest of instructions.

::Check your Port Number::

I recently had similar issues while setting up used IP450's and IP550's. The reason my lines would not register was because my phones had the wrong port number.

I found this note while setting up new CHAN_SIP extensions in my SIP server. "This device uses CHAN_SIP technology listening on Port 5160 (UDP - this is a NON STANDARD port)

After entering this port number into my phone manually, (MENU<SETTINGS<ADVANCED<ADMIN SETTINGS<LINE CONFIGURATION<LINE 1<SERVER 1<PORT<EDIT) my line registered immediately.

Hope this helps someone
