I upgraded a 670 running 3.2.6 to 4.0.7 UC.  The device provisions properly and call features work, but the device's WEB access is not accessible - no login page, nothing.  I see the following in the device syslog which might be related:

[cfgSaProcessRequestC::isPathAllowed] index.htm path not allowed for authType 0

I suspect the authType issue is related to some config value left over from the 3.2.6 config, though I do not see anything in the 3.2.6 config related to WEB access and/or authType apart from wep settings.  Any ideas how to get my WEB access back?

Thanks!!

Hello zervina,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Not sure what configuration you are using but access to the Web Interface can be disabled or a different port than 80 can be assigned.

Have a look => here <= or in the Admin Guide.

Thanks for the reply, but that did not help.  The web server is enabled properly in the config.  I am certain the issue has to do with the following syslog line:

[cfgSaProcessRequestC::isPathAllowed] index.htm path not allowed for authType 0

As it is logged every time I attempt web access to the device.  I just don't know what "authType" is referring to...

Hello zervina,

I had a quick look internally and could not find any reference to this error message in regards to the Web Interface.

I would suggest you factory reset the unit and test it again and then start looking at your configuration.

This issue is still open.  No one has ever seen AuthType syslog entry described?
