Hello,

i have problem with my Polycom SounPoint  IP. I use SW 4.0.8. 1608

When I make outgoing call and called party is busy then Polycom device play busy tone for 30 seconds. I realy can't find which parameter is responsible for this behavior.

I set up the tones like http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/FAQ-How-can-I-change-my-Dial-Tone-or-Call-Progress-Tones-to/td-... but this make effect that SounPoint play busy ton for few seconds but device hang up still after 30s

thak you very much,

Jakub

Hello Jakub,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I believe this is working as designed and fixed in our code so the state time expiry controls the buys tone playback. I believe this is hardcoded to 30 seconds.

As you have not really specified if you would like to make this longer or shorter I am not fully sure what you are actually after.

A change to the above would require a feature request via your Polycom reseller in order to raise a business case for a potential change. You could quote VOIP-49861 as a reference.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
