Hi Team,
Need help, why the Polycom Mic volume is too low, meaning when on call (direct phone / from Laptop) we have to speak in a loud voice or speak near the mic to be able heard by our partner. we have 2 extention microphones.

 

UC Software Version 4.0.13.1445 BootROM Software Version 5.0.13.0801

I am trying to understand the scenario of the call. What is the Laptop in this call ?

 

Does this only happen when you call a PC or also via PSTN ?

 

Did you test this without the expansion microphones yet ?

 

Are you using the right microphones?

- using softphone ( 3CX / PSTN ), Skype, Zoom Confrence Call
Does this only happen when you call a PC or also via PSTN ?
- yes, both of them, event direct from Polycom device using PSTN or From PC

Did you test this without the expansion microphones yet ?
- yes, and get same issue.

Are you using the right microphones?
- microphone P/N : 2201-15855-001

no, already used -+ 1,5year. our new employee said the microphone must be sensitive like at his last office

Just work for Speaker only ( using PC,windows lapto and Macbook )

Speaker and Mice input work for : Windows Laptop

Speaker only for : Macbook ( due to input for microphone not detect )
