We have an IP 7000 about 2 years old and it appears it lost its config files - phone is in a boot-loop looking for a boot server, using existing configuration.  I cannot access the menu, or web page for admin settings.

In "About" the phone displays Rev. 4.3.1.0887  25.Oct.11

I installed WSftp on my notebook as the configuration server for the phone.

From what I see on the board, release notes, admin guides, etc. I downloaded:

"Polycom_UC_Software_4_0_9_release_sig_split.zip"

and

"Polycom_UC_Updater_5_0_7_release_sig.zip"

Are these the correct files for FTP config?  Do I need any additional files?  Do I need to edit any of the files before FTP?

Thanks in advance!

John

Resolution: Please check => here <=

If the above is insufficient please check the Engineering Advisory 64731 Polycom® UC Software 4.0.0: Upgrade and Downgrade Methods which you have to read when you acknowledge to download the UC Software.
