SoundStation IP 7000 password reset



I have a problem because I don't remember password to access advanced administration settings. I know that I am able to reset this password using <removed by the moderator>. I have just tried to press and hold 1 3 5 and 7 dial after power up device but phone did not stop booting. Next I tried to press setup while I was seeing "Welcom 7 secund until autoboot" then I wrote password <removed by the moderator> but this password is incorrect. Could anyone help to resolve this issue. Thanks ina advance!

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We do not disclose within this official Polycom community how to reset the Phones if the Admin Password is lost.

Many of our partners utilize these phones and offer services so we cannot publicly disclose the procedure to do so.

As you seem to be aware of the correct procedure I can only advise you to follow:

For any other support you will need to work with your Polycom reseller.

We will remove any post replying to this that will publicly explain how to remove the password.
