I have a SoundStation IP6000 with the following spec's

Bootblock 2.8.0

BootROM 4.2.2

I want to upgrade the BootROM to a newer version: 4.3.1

I have setup  a TFTP-server, that's working fine with other IP6000's, so that is not the issue.

When I made this IP6000 go back to Factory Default-settings (with the key combi 6 8 *) the phone gets into the 7 seconds to autoboot, starts Initializing the network en then reboots again and so on.

If I try to enter the Setup, within a few seconds the phone reboots again.

It seems like a continious loop of rebooting.

What can i do to fix this problem?

Hello dstein,

I had already replied to your other post.

Is there an message on the phone being displayed during this process ?

You may need to reprovision the software.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

I would suggest FTP as you also get the logs uploaded and appended during the reboot.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

I attached the phone in an other VLAN and it properly loaded the BootROM and SIP-software.

After that I attached into the original VLAN and that went fine too.
