Hi

I have finally got my Soundpoint 335 working now that I have a new netgear WNR2200 router.

I am able to call out and be heard but only it seems to 0800 numbers. (I'm based in the UK)

I'm using the SIP provider voipfone.co.uk who confirm that my phone is successfully talking to their servers and there is plenty of credit on my line. It seems that the phone itself is blocking any non 0800 numbers since if it was a credit issue I would hear a message from my sip provider, all I hear is a long constant tone after entering the 3rd or 4th digit.

Could this be related to a "dial plan" or something? Is the phone treating numbers that don't start 0800 as some kind of internal extension or something?

My phone is set up in "standalone mode" so any changes I have to make using the web interface (which is confusing in places :). The phone is the only SIP device on my home network.

Thanks for reading

thankyou Steffen that was helpful, based on the info you shard I managed to find a dial plan that suited the UK

[9]99|*xx|[0]xxxxxxxxxx|[5-6]xxx|

I am now able to dial "normal" numbers.

(also thanks to markbhai on freepbx dot org for posting this dial plan or digit map)
