Hello Community,

I had a prob with my Soundpoint 650 at my homeoffice.

If i choose a line and i dial a number whitch starts with 0 ( maybe a cellphone 0176- ) and i press the 1 the dialing stops and i heard a message from my provider that the number is not correct. This happends with every number that starts with a 0 and the next number. Maybe, i wanna call my friend in another town with the number 02534 XXXX the dial stops after i press the numer 2 and i heard a message.

But if i dial the number at first and i choose the line at last i had no problems.

Second Question:

Could i connect my PC over the PC LAN Port at the soundpoint ? Than i didnt need a switch or hub here at my working place.

Thx !

Matthias

Hello Matthias,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Phone unable to Dial a number when Off Hook or on 2nd Call in a Conference

ResolutionPlease check => here <=

In order to be able to dial your assumed German number plan you need to change the digit map or remove this completely.

The second questions answer is yes as the phone has a built in switch. Please check the user guide for more details.
