Soundpoint IP 335 attached to Cisco 3560 incorrectly marks SIP as CoS5

I've set up a Soundpoint IP 335 phone connected to a Cisco 3560.  On the 3650, the configuration is as follows:



lldp run

lldp tlv-select power-management

lldp tlv-select port-vlan

network-policy profile 335

voice vlan 210 cos 5

voice-signaling vlan 210 cos 3


interface gi1/0/1

description Soundpoint-IP-335

lldp receive

lldp transmit

switchport access vlan 110

network-policy 335

lldp med-tlv-select network-policy

power inline auto max 10000



On the wire, I see that the switch is sending LLDP that includes all of the required TLVs, and specifies voice (RTP) as CoS5 and voice signalling (SIP) as CoS3.


However, when the phone initiates a session, SIP gets marked as CoS5, rather than the specified CoS3.  I can make this work from a QoS perspective, but the right thing here would be for the phone to properly mark SIP traffic.


Is there something I've missed?  Phone is running a "Boot Block" of, and the "Updater" is  SIP version is

welcome to the Polycom Community.

If the phone is able to setup a network connection or even upload it's logs I would suggest you set the overall Logs to Debug and then the LLDP and DHCPC Client to check the logs for what is happening.
