Hello There,

Have some issues with a  Soundpoint IP 650 phone, i cannot add contact on the directory , neither add a speed dial.

The softkeys ADD / MORE are not being shown on the phone, not sure if this issue is related a firmware version or if the phone is locked, i've manual the manual several times and this are the instructions:

Adding Contacts

To manually add a new entry to your Contact Directory:

1. Press the Directories key
2. Press 1 for Contact Directory
3. Press the More > Add softkeys ----- There is no "MORE" option. Only Dial, View, Back and Search.

Any suggestion?

Thanks!

Hello Denisse_V,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC server

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello Denisse_V,

are there any other speed dials already present ?

Could it simply be that the dir.local.readonly parameter is set?

UC Software 3.3.2 is no longer a supported Version so you may want to consider moving to UC Software 4.0.10 instead.
