Hi,

I have 40 x Soundpoint IP335 phones registered with an Avaya IP Office 500v2 system running 8.0/66 software.

Some issues I have are:-

1 - Can't dial *17 to access Voice Mail.

2 - When phone on-hook and enter a number, you have to press dial or lift handset.

3 - If lift handset and try and dial a number it won't work.

4 - Would like to know what features are allowed on these phones

5 - Do you have any install guides for these phones on the Avaya IP Office systems.

Many thanks - Mark.

Hello Mark,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP => FAQ <= contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Phone unable to Dial a number when Off Hook or on 2nd Call in a Conference

ResolutionPlease check => here <=

Above should answer most of your questions.

In regards of install guides or features please be aware that Avaya would need to supply these as they would have done the interoperability testing.

They may have done this for our SoundStation IP conference phones so please check with them.
