Is there a known issue and fix for handset cradle on hook / off-hook button toggled too quickly causing line lockout for 30 seconds (key position LED also goes solid red for 30s)?

 

Hoping this is simply a bug and is fixed so nuanced behavior is more user friendly. Like line lockout for 2-3 seconds max.

 

Running 4.04.5703 f/w.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

If this is a known bug you should try and upgrade to the latest supported Version for your phone which is UCS 4.0.7 if you are using a SIP server or UCS 4.1.1 if you are using LYNC

 

The UCS 4.0.5 release notes state:

 

  • 89395/89495 Off-hooking and on-hooking the phone’s handset in a quick succession (~1sec) is now working as expected.
