Hello,

I'm trying to use the meet-me feature of my CUCM (Cisco's Call Manager) with a couple of Soundstation IP 5000.. but with no luck

Is it possible that these devices don't support this feature? I'm using it with two analog Soundstation (even the 2W), but they use a SCCP ATA converter..

It sounds very strange to me that a "conceptually old" analog device can use meet-me, while "new.technology" IP devices cannot..

In case meet-me cannot really be used.. is there another capabilities of these devices that do almost the same?

Thank you very much

Hello tiaccadi,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jul 17, 2014 Question:Can I deploy Polycom® SoundStation® IP Conference Phones with Cisco® Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above document explains in detail what limitations are presented when using the 3rd Party SIP device functionality with a CUCM and you would need to work with Cisco on allowing additional features via raising a feature request with them.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
