hi all,

 

I setup 2x IP 7000 soundstations. unfortunately the sound quality (high frequencies) are the same bad like using old, analog SoundStations 2.

 

Compared with for example our videoconferencing systems the audio quality is much less.

 

Can somebody tell me how we can increase the quality between the two 7000 soundstations?

Hello Pascal,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The audio quality completely depends on the Audio Codec that your SIP PABX allows you to use.

 

You could try and IP call from one unit to the other as they then should be able to negotiate a HD Codec.

 

G.711 will of course sound differently to a G.722 or so.
