We have recently purchased a Soundstation 7000 IP conference phone.  I have followed instructions from our phone switch manufacturer, Mitel, on how to setup the phone on the network.    I have followed these instructions but can't seem to get it to pick up the number.

Also, I have not been able to ever get to the phone through its IP address.  I have been informed that even if it is setup incorrectly, I should still be able to get to its website through its IP address (which it does assign itself).

Does this mean that the phone is faulty?  There should be nothing preventing this connection according to our network systems team.

Thanks,

Chris

Hello Chris,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We encourage all users to read the Welcome Post, the FAQ and use the Forum Search.

I would start by checking if the IP 7000 has actually got an IP Address. This is outlined => here <=

I would then check if the IP 7000 has actually got the SIP Server details. This is outlined => here <=

I would then check if the IP 7000 is actually registered to the SIP Server . This is outlined => here <=
