I installed this phone on a ShoreTel system and I can call ext to ext fine and local calls work fine as well. When I hit the dial button then enter the long distance number after 8 digits are entered I get reorder tone. When I enther the LD number then hit dial it works fine. I am confused as to why it works one way and not the other unless there is a timer that needs to be tweaked.

the digit map is this

[2-9]11|0T|011xxx.T|[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxT|8xx#xxxx

Above explains the Digitmap in detail and also how to troubleshoot this.

 

I would suggest, if not done so already, upgrade to the latest UCS 4.0.4 and then test again or troubleshoot.
