I have an IP5000 that when I dial using the "new call" button then dialing the number thru the keypad the calls fails after the 7th digit. However if I dial the number and pree the "dial" key the call completes.

The version of firmware I am running is 3.3.2.0413 and the SN is 0004F2E74D6B.

Any idea on why the call fails when accessing dial tome first and dilaing and not the other way.

BTW I modified the dialing plan on the cfg file and removed the 7 digit dialing section and it still fails.

Thanks

Tony

Hello tony,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This sounds like a configuration issue and in addition you are not using a supported software version.

Polycom support only looks after the latest Version or the prior one.

For the SSIP5000 this is at least UCS 4.0.4.

If you want to stay on the UCS 3.3.x range that would be UCS 3.3.5
