Hy,

I have an IP5000 and I want to configure the equipment in mode to use SIP in central Siemens HiPath 3800 SIP.

Can anyone help me?

Does anyone have a step-by-step for this type of environment?

I appreciate the attention and support.

Sincerely,

Nelson Antonio Covolo

Hello everybody

Attachment file with the settings that I did, but not enough to make the calls.

The extension that will IP500 is set to: 8941

The extension ID is: 8941

The extension requires no password

The IP Hipath 3800 is: 192.168.5.28

Shown is the message when I make the connection:
To: 9777@192.168.5.28
sip: 9777@192.168.5.28

I checked several guides to support Polycom, including
"http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/FAQ-VoIP-frequently-asked-questions/td-p/4205", but still could not solve the problem.

Thanks again for your attention and support.

Sincerely,

Hello Nelson,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am not to sure about your Port usage and the TCP.

Usually it is DNSnaptr as transport and Port 5060 (if the web interface shows 0 it means its the standard 5060)

All the phone does at present is URL dialing as it is not registered.

Try your credentials with something like x-lite and if that does not work either contact Siemens to check with them for 3rd party  SIP devices.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
