Anyone have documentation on how to configure Call Manager to allow SIP registration of Soundstation IP 7000 running UC 4.0.x ?  I had this working fine with UC 3.3.3, but there was an issue with integration on Group Series 700 that prompted me to upgrade.  Registration now fails and I cannot test if issue is resolved on Group Series.

I've looked all over for documentation but there is nothing recent.  Any help is much appreciated.

Thx

Hello Kevin,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The CUCM is not a supported Platform for our VoIP Phones.

The FAQ contains a general overview how to register to a SIP server here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Our
SoundStructure VoIP card is tested against the CUCM and has a deployment guide that can be found => here <=

Kevin,

I've just spent several hours to finally get our IP7000 registered with CM 10.1 after upgrading the phone firmware to v.4. I did end up calling Cisco support. I relied on this document and Cisco said it was very good as well.

You really only need to make sure the CM profile is setup according to the doc and follow the "Lines" portion on the phone. The phone does not use many of the features if registered to CM. It's what we give up.

The transport protocol that works for us is "TCPpreferred" and CM uses the standard SIP protocol profile. Perhaps you have several like we did.
