I'm working with a school's phone system implementing Polycom VVX 310 phones.
Line 1 is registered with the VoIP provider.
Line 2 is registered with an internal FreePBX to interface with the Intercom system.
It's working great but the end user is having to enter a lot of key strokes to access the intercom where they are used to pressing just one button on the old analog system.
ie.... choose line 2, dial 6405# wait for dial tone from intercom then dial room number.
Is there a way to create a directory entry or softkey that will choose line 2 and dial 6405#?

UC Software 4.0.0 or later via the Web Interface Utilities > Phone Backup & Restore > Phone Backup > Phone Backup
Whilst providing some of these details may not directly impact any possible answer the community can provide, it does enable Polycom to have an overview of the current software used. In addition providing all details at the same time allow us to check logs or look up a potential support partners if an issue needs to come into support. It also enables us to verify the entitlement for using features.

A Speed Dial cannot be programmed to use a certain line. Most likely you find your answer in the EFK post linked above.

I'm upvoting this as a necessity.
EFK's work well but are for admin's to set up; this needs to be functionality available to the end user.
