TLS BYE VVX 300 sending BYE message in clear text

Hello,

 

I am trying to get TLS working with the VVX 300. I have Yealink devices using TLS on the same service without issue. I can originate a call from the VVX using TLS and establish the call without issue. However, when I hang up the on the VVX, it sends the BYE message in clear text.

 

Any ideas are apreciated.

Hello PT,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

I have have produced this issue on Version 5.5.0, 5.4.2 and 5.4.1.14510.

The next step would be to work with your Polycom reseller to bring this to the attention of your local Polycom support team.

 

If your reseller is some kind of internet discounter please post a MAC address of one of your phones so I can look up who you need to contact for support.
