Hello,
we got the TRIO 8800 and the Visual+ for testing these days and I was wondering if it is possible to
change the camera Hz from 60 to 50?
Because of our 50Hz power supply in germany the neonlights in the rooms put a massive jitter on the video.
I found an option (Basic > Video) to change the framerate from 30fps to 25fps or else, but it doesn't
seem to affect the camera settings at all.
Thanks in advance

Hello Jan,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
A future software version will add the option . Please check the release notes for VOIP-109698 camera flicker avoidance.
I am unable to provide the date when this will be release but if you could share your MAC address of the Unit and your details I will be able to communicate via your service request system.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

After setting up the full collaboration kit (Trio, Visual+, Logitech C930e) in our demo room we are finding that the Flicker Avoidance setting has not resolved the flicker we are experiencing under fluorescent lighting. We have upgraded to software version 5.4.1AA. The other Polycom systems in our room, once set to 50Hz (Australia) do not have the issue. Is there any other data on this problem?

Hello Peter Denton,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.
Are you sure the visual+ is also updated to the new release and have you tried rebooting both units ?
If yes to all of the above I would suggest to work with your reseller so they can open a ticket with our support team for you.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
