Model:  VVX410

UC Version(s):   5.2.0.8330, and 5.3.0.12074

Config Example:  VVX is has two accounts

<reg reg.1.address="uname1@domain.com" reg.1.auth.password="mysecret" reg.1.auth.userId="uname1" reg.1.displayName="1235551212" reg.1.label="5551212" reg.1.lineKeys="3" reg.1.callsPerLineKey="5" reg.1.type="private" reg.1.ringType="ringer2" reg.2.address="uname2@domain.com" reg.2.auth.password="mysecret" reg.2.auth.userId="uname2" reg.2.displayName="1235551213" reg.2.label="5551213" reg.2.lineKeys="1" reg.2.callsPerLineKey="5" reg.2.type="private" reg.2.ringType="ringer2" >
</reg>

LineKey reassignment is enabled with non contiguous mapping between accounts (reg.1 keys 1-3 reg.2 on key 5)

<lineKey lineKey.1.category="Line" lineKey.1.index="1" lineKey.2.category="Line" lineKey.2.index="1" lineKey.3.category="Line" lineKey.3.index="1" lineKey.5.category="Line" lineKey.5.index="2">
<lineKey.reassignment lineKey.reassignment.enabled="1" />
</lineKey>

When the phone registers teh follwoing registration event notification is sent.

<PolycomIPPhone>
<LineRegistrationEvent>
<PhoneIP>xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx</PhoneIP>
<MACAddress>0004f2XXXXXX</MACAddress>
<LineNumber>2</LineNumber>
<TimeStamp>2015-06-18T14:38:02-08:00</TimeStamp>
</LineRegistrationEvent>
</PolycomIPPhone><PolycomIPPhone>
<LineRegistrationEvent>
<PhoneIP>xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx</PhoneIP>
<MACAddress>0004f2XXXXXX</MACAddress>
<LineNumber>1</LineNumber>
<TimeStamp>2015-06-18T14:38:47-08:00</TimeStamp>
</LineRegistrationEvent>
</PolycomIPPhone>

Reg.1 is represented as <LineNumber>1</LineNumber>

Reg.2 is represented as <LineNumber>2</LineNumber>

When a call State Change notification comes in from inbound call to REG.2 the following is sent.

<PolycomIPPhone>
<IncomingCallEvent>
<PhoneIP>xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx</PhoneIP>
<MACAddress>0004f2XXXXXX</MACAddress>
<LineNumber>5</LineNumber>
<CallingPartyName>Some Name</CallingPartyName>
<CallingPartyNumber>sip:1235551313@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx</CallingPartyNumber>
<CalledPartyName>1235551213</CalledPartyName>
<CalledPartyNumber>sip:uname2@domain.com@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx</CalledPartyNumber>
<TimeStamp>2015-06-18T14:38:50-08:00</TimeStamp>
</IncomingCallEvent>
</PolycomIPPhone>

Here we see that reg.2 is now represented as <LineNumber>5</LineNumber>

This appears to be a bug.  Instead of reporting the actual line ID in this case 2, is sends teh LineKeyNumber ID instead, in this case 5.

Is there workaround or can you submit this as a bug.  I need the IncomingCallEvent to send the linenum (the X in reg.X.) not linekeynum.

Hello UCDlfross,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

I suggest you raise a support ticket via your Polycom reseller so we can look into this. Any change to the current functionality would require a business case via your Polycom sales engineer.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
