Transfering calls from SoundStation IP 5000 to SNOM 760

One of our clients is using the SoundStation IP 5000 for conference calls and SNOM 760s as main business phones. When the SoundStation recives a call and I try to transfer  it to one of the SNOM phones it says "request failed" on the screen of the SoundStation. I'm wondering now what the cause for this problem is and I would appreciate some advice.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Transfering calls from SoundStation IP 5000 to SNOM 760

Hello warkki,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC server

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

The community also contains this FAQ post:

Jan 19, 2012 Question: How to troubleshoot Polycom VoIP related Issues?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above can be used to troubleshoot issues using Logs or Wireshark.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
