Hi,

For daisy chaining 2 Poly Trio 8800 systems one of these devices has to be set to Networked Device Role = Device. By now, I'm able to change this parameter only on the touch screen of the Trio 8800 manually.

Is it possible to set the parameter Networked Device Role

  • by Web Interface of the Trio 8800?
  • by RPRM using configuration profiles for centralized management?

Trio 8800 Version 5.9.3.7982

RPRM 10.8.0-251114

Thanks

Hello @LeoK

I updated the FAQ with the relevant parameter for the "secondary" Trio.

Hello Steffen, Sorry, your reply didn't help. Daisy-chaining is working properly when changing Networked Device Role from Hub to Device on the slave Trio 8800's GUI and the master Trio 8800 runs as Hub (= default value). This means, that the user has to pair the devices manually using the device's touch screen.. But is there a way to pair the Trio 8800 automatically using parameters in configuration profiles of RPRM similar to the way to pair a Trio 8800 with Visual+ or with VisualPro? I think, that Visual+ and VisualPro are working as Networked Device Role = Device by default, so that mr.pair.uid.1 = "MAC of Visual+/VisualPro" works immediatly after finishing the startup process of the Trio 8800 and the pairing of Trio 8800 and Visual+/VisualPro is completed. Best regards, LeoK
