Trio 8800 5.9.1.10906 in Hybrid Mode

SFB Line 1

The exchange.meeting.parseOption="All" is not saved after importing it.

Orginally the Trio8800 was configured with SFB SIP Zoom Bluejeans and exchange.meeting.parseOption="All" did want to be saved. So I rest th eTrio 8800 to Factory by holding the 4 corners, and I configured only SFB and imported only these

dialplan.1.digitmap.timeOut="8"
dialplan.1.lyncDigitmap.timeOut="10"
reg.1.mergeServerDigitMapLocally="1"
reg.limit="4"
dialplan.digitmap.lineSwitching.enable="1"
exchange.meeting.parseEmailsAsSipUris="1"
exchange.meeting.parseOption="All"

however after exporting the config file, the exchange.meeting.parseOption="All" still not saved on the Trio 8800.

is it something wrong or the paramter is no longer applicable.

Also another question;

in order for the Trio8800 to prase and display JOIN button for Zoom, Blujeans, webex ..etc, do I need to configure the lines for each as well ?

Hello @eerspoly ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Please ensure you always check the FAQ's and/or utilize the community search before posting any new topics or follow up posts.

Utilizing the community search we can find this >here< discussing a similar configuration.

I just replied:

Jan 14, 2015 Question: Finding the default values for configuration parameters for Polycom Phones?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

From the XSD file:

<xsd:attribute ref="exchange.meeting.parseOption">
<xsd:annotation><xsd:documentation>enum allowed values: "All" "Location" "LocationAndSubject" "Description", default "All".</xsd:documentation></xsd:annotation>
</xsd:attribute>

The above is a standard value and these are not shown in the backup.

You will need to configure all the lines that you want to utilize.

If you still struggle please open a ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support.

I can see SCANSOURCE INC sold this 13/05/2018 so they are your Tier 1 support.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Ok thanks for the explanation, what about the

Also another question;

I have Schedueled two meetings one with Zoom and one with Bluejeans and invited the Polycom email address ( no Zoom or BJ lines are configured ), however the JOIN button is dialing a number insteadof joining the video meeting. any help is apprictaed

Hi eerspoly,

unless you configure one (unregistered) line each for Zoom and BlueJeans it will not work, except if you use Poly's OTD service which doesn't work if you use the Trio in SfB base profile.

Attached are the config file samples which you can combine with native SfB registration on line 1.

Hello @eerspoly ,

there is only so much we can try and help but we cannot provide free support.

A Trio, if set up correctly, will simply parse an outlook invite and dial the correct partner.

Please open a ticket.

some observations

if the digitmap is setup as per the your example files or as refered in the Polycom Documents it will dial a busy tone when clicking on the Join

  • dialplan.3.digitmap="^.+@zoomcrc\.com$"
  • dialplan.4.digitmap="^.+@bjn\.vc$"

Polycom T2995444

Also

if both Zomm and BlueJeans have the follwoing digitmap, BJ meetings are dialed as Zoom I guess becasue of both they have the sip\:x in the digitmap ( I could be wrong )

  • dialplan.3.digitmap="sip\:x.\.x.\@zoomcrc\.com|sip\:x.\@zoomcrc\.com|x.\.x.\@zoomcrc\.com|x.\@zoomcrc\.com|xxxxxxxxx.T|xxxxxxxxxx|"
  • dialplan.3.digitmap="sip\:x.\.x.\@bjn\.vc|sip\:x.\@bjn\.vc|x.\.x.\@bjn\.vc|x.\@bjn\.vc"

Another observation that the Document Polycom T2995444 points to use the port 5061 and configure the proxy, which is not the same as the example files.. if there any significant difference ?

reg.2.address="Trio.Zoom"
reg.2.displayName="Trio Zoom"
reg.2.label="Zoom"
reg.2.server.1.address="zoomcrc.com"
reg.2.server.1.register="0"
reg.2.server.1.transport="TLS"
reg.2.server.1.port="5061"
reg.2.keepalive.sessionTimers="1"
reg.2.srtp.offer="1"
reg.2.outboundProxy.address="zoomcrc.com"
reg.2.outboundProxy.transport="TLS"
reg.2.outboundProxy.port="5061"/>

Hello @eerspoly ,

Whilst other community members have and still can provide advice you will need to apply some common sense.

Your config contains:

reg.2.server.1.address="zoomcrc.com"

but then you try and use

dialplan.3.digitmap="sip\:x.\.x.\@zoomcrc\.com|sip\:x.\@zoomcrc\.com|x.\.x.\@zoomcrc\.com|x.\@zoomcrc\.com|xxxxxxxxx.T|xxxxxxxxxx|"

This is not going to work.

Please follow the Hybrid, the Zoom, and the BlueJeans FAQ and/or open a ticket.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

SteffenBaierUK, it does not mean that you are admin that your comments should be more than helping. on two occasions on two sperate tickets, your comments are not needed, only your help.

I want to remind you that this is a community and you are not speaking on behalf of the commuinty.

There are people who can offer help for free, no one is forcing you to do this and no one is asking for free help. I invested thousands of dollar in brand new Polycom equipment, when there are not enough support or clear documents that explain how to do things.

You did not even pay attention that it was not my config file that has the reg.2. and the dialplan.3

I really appreciate your help, for sure not your comments, and I higly recommand like the others do, WHEN they provide help they do it with no personal comments, this will really avoid an issue like this. Skip the preaching comments.

Again thanks a lot for the time you took you answer my issues.

Hello @eerspoly ,

in case you missed it, this community is hosted by my Employer and Poly employees mainly are trying to help users.

Secondly, there are no tickets here. Posting something within this open community does not automatically open a ticket with Poly support.

If your device is still within warranty you can get free support via our support organisation if you work through your Poly reseller.

We Poly employees spend many hours creating content which is covered by the FAQ or our KNOVA solution which will answer the most common questions.
