Hi

I have a Polycom Trio on 5.9.3.8724.

I am trying to utilise the OTD service offered by Polycom.

I have successfully signed into the service and connected OTD service to Microsoft 365 and have confirmed its able to see my room mailboxes using the test feature.

I am now trying to setup a calendar on the Trio following the instructions provided however my Trio never connects. If i follow the procedure to set it up as a registered device then it sits on pending for a while until eventually showing unreachable. I have also attempted to use the autoregistration route, however the device never appears on the OTD portal.

I also have two cloud relays that are showing on the OTD portal, but they are also showing as unreachable. Is there any additional config that needs to be completed to get the Trio talking to the OTD service?

Thanks,
Robert

Hi mshu

Thanks for the advice. I we already had the configuration added to the devices and Click to Join wasn't appearing.

I went through the process of setting up OTD on a Trio using the Generic profile and setup a resource mailbox using the Polycom guide here:
https://otd.plcm.vc/support/docs/calendars/office365-configure-room-mailbox

After following this guide i realised the room mailboxes i was trying to access weren't configured correctly as they were missing the below:

Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity "VTC01@yourdomain.com" -AutomateProcessing AutoAccept -AddOrganizerToSubject $false -AllowConflicts $false -DeleteComments $false -DeleteSubject $false -RemovePrivateProperty $false -AddAdditionalResponse $true -AdditionalResponse "This is a Poly Meeting room!"

 Once i added this config the the mailboxes and set the Trio up in Skype for Business mode again the meeting invitations were showing the Join buttons as expected.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @

you don´t need OTD for the Trio. The Trio can parse the meeting by itself. For example with this config-file, the Trio should display all meetings from Zoom, BlueJeans, Webex, etc. with the join-button.

<exchange exchange.meeting.parseAllowedSipUriDomains="zoomcrc.com,zoom.us,zoomus.com,bjn.vc,webex.com,plcm.vc,chime.in"
exchange.meeting.parseEmailsAsSipUris="1"
exchange.meeting.parseOption="All" />

You want to use Teams with RealConnect?
