Trio 8800 : web management interface use with Firefox

I have just received the Trio 8800. I want to configure the phone using the web management interface on Macro Sierra (10.12.5) After completing the IP address in my Firebox browser (version 53.0.3 64-bit) , The standard Web Polycom connection interface is displayed. I entered the standard administrator password. Then I received the following error message
"Authorization failed.
The page is there. "

If I use safari (version 10.1.1), the interface works well.
Could you explain these different behaviors?

Do you have a solution to this problem? Thank you in advance.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently usedUC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

Did the browser that fails possibly autocomplete the login address with a index.html at the end ?


Can you try with just the IP?


We are not aware of any issues logging in so you may need to open a ticket.

I solved this problem. This did not work because an add-on of Firefox (Pdf Creator) prevented authentication.
